"Coolsville"

All though I may not know much about the 20's thew the 50's I find my self uncontrollably drawn to the Fashion, Music and Cars one particular style of car (1950-51, Mercury.) And with my blog I would like to share with you my opinion on each.

The Fashion.
Absolutely I think there has never been a tougher look then a "Greaser" In the way of the style of rolled up jeans with a White T with a pack of Lucky's rolled up in the sleeve very simple and yet very masculine, That hair how can I have a topic with out talking about that Pompadour I am not shore on what to say accept "Very Cool" I am not clear on all the lingo of that era, But when I see a Pompadour the words (Daddy'O and Cool Cat) come to mind. And how about the girls? They had a look as well that I find to have a era of pure innocence with a splash of hidden rebellion there is nothing I do not dislike about the Sunglasses, Rubie red lipstick and the matching heels look, I may be gay But I tell ya I can see me with a hot "Betty" driving around town in a 50 Mercury looking the part.

The Music.
The introduction of "Rock A Billy" in to main the stream a defendant turning point for music it paved the way to a fork in the road for all to choose a musical path, Thew out the years I have gone to a few night clubs (He,He) and I have noticed that the only other time that people have been that passionate about there dance moves is when Brake Dancing was popular. The energy that goes into playing Rockabilly is intense they make it look easy as far as being a "Rock Star" goes I have no desire, But! I think it would be very cool to be a musician in a Rockabilly band. Bands like Stray Cats, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Horror Pops and of cores Elvis are a style of music that is slowly being forgotten more people need to go to Rockabilly concert or a play like Grease and dress the part, And if they do not have A good time there then they are way too square to have fun anywhere.

The Car's.
How do I begin? In the 40's and 50's not only did America produce some beauties but Europe did as well Mercedes Bens, Jaguar, Ferrari, Role's Royce. But my fave is the 1950-51 Ford Mercury America had the Hot Rod there is just so many and they are to this day still admired by young and old, I my self am going to retro fit a long chassy to accommodate a 50-51 Merc and I could only hope to mimic the coolness of a fading era that only a few choose to embrace and enjoy.

Tantra means many things to many people. Literally, it’s a Sanskrit word meaning “weaving” and “expansion.” The Tantric community is definitely eclectic, containing everything from devout spiritual practitioners to New Age prostitutes. It’s important to ask questions, do your research, and trust your intuition before selecting Tantric teachers or programs.

Yab YumTantra was born in India 5,000 years ago as a rebellion against the strict moralistic codes of the Hindu religion. The ancient Tantric texts were written as a dialogue between Lord Shiva (symbolized as pure consciousness) and his beloved consort, Shakti (symbolized as pure energy). It is said that the entire universe was created through their erotic union. All living things emanate their holy dance of consciousness and energy.

Although the West is fascinated with the sexual aspects of Tantra, it is actually a broad spiritual discipline that contains sexuality as one of its many practices. The body and sexuality are sacred gifts from the Divine, vehicles for enlightenment not hindrances. The sacred and erotic art of Tantra depicting the coupling of Shiva and Shakti represents the ultimate unity of the Divine, the essential wholeness of yin and yang, masculine and feminine, light and dark.
